Double-Degree
What is
Double Degree or Double Title is an international academic agreement between USP (or one of its Institutes) and a foreign university (or one of its Institutes), and implies reciprocity. It provides students the opportunity of co-adivising by professors, one at each institution involved. Under this kind of agreement, the title is awarded by both institutions.
Aim
The double degree opportunity aims at promoting and developing scientific cooperation among research teams from USP and foreign institutions.
Who can participate
The candidate must be regularly enrolled in a Graduate Program at USP or at a foreign institution. The rules and regulations of co-advising students in the context of a Double/Multiple-title Program are specified in Articles 133 to 140 of the Regulations of Graduate Study at USP.
Important Notes
- The agreement between both institutions must be formalized before the beginning of the student's activities.
- Professors and students seeking this opportunity should ask for more information at the Graduate Committee Office at their home Institute.
